The Theme Resource Editor is a grapical user interface to hacking your zen.
It allows modifying PNG images, positions of items, colors of items, colors of fonts, sizes of fonts.
Just run the EXE attached to this post, Import data from HJukebox.grs, change it as you wish (after each change of any element settings you have to click 'Save Changes' or they will be lost).
The other file attached to this post is .dsc file with descriptions of some elements checked by me. Use 'Import .dsc' to import data from the file to the memory.
After modifying data use 'Export To GRS'. Information from epiZENter.net
CreativeWizard Old CreativeWizard New
The Creative Wizard is the must-have tool for hacking your ZEN firmware. It's a well-designed program that allows for you to open the firmware, make new firmware, change font firmware, convert firmware for editing with the Theme Resource Editor, and uploading that firmware back to the player. There are a few bugs in all of the versions, however, and the "Old" version is almost completely stable and works with every player except the Zen X-Fi. The new version is required to hack the X-Fi, and a detailed tutorial on how to do that is here.
ZEN X-Fi Exclusive Files
A modified ZEN X-Fi bin file with my created Vista theme.
The entire ZIP file with the Zen Vista Theme. Includes all of the images. Also, it allows for easy conversion to other Zen platforms without creating a lot of new images.
